Konoba Koloseum

Konoba Koloseum is located in old town, right next to the famous stairs in the Game of Thrones! Apart from the fact that the location is perfect, the prices are more than acceptable. And now the most important, food. On the menu you can find something for everyone: from fresh fish, good meat, local food and a diverse range of dishes. The food is very tasty, and the portions are generous. We ate grilled fish and squid with swiss chard, tagliatelle with steak, bruschetta with avocado and salmon and with tomato and cream cheese. Excellent service, Orsat was amazing host to us!! I recommend this tavern/restaurant to everyone, we will definitely come back during our stay in Dubrovnik!

I found this place only because i am very selective . I have been at many places in Dubrovnik old town searching for the best grilled squids. I am chief myself in London.Croatian grilled squids is a highlight of the Dalmatian coast. Here you will get the authentic squids with Swiss chard and potatoes. Amazing presentation and perfectly cooked squids , very soft , juicy and balanced with the garlic oil. You can enjoy the unique view on the walk of shame also , the scenery from the game of thrones while you having you dinner. Service is truly outstanding . 5 stars.

Food was amazing with generous portions and very friendly service. We got the seafood linguine, grilled octopus and tuna steak and it was all delicious! It's not an obvious spot, right by the famous Game of Thrones "shame stairs". Genuinely such a lovely experience - our favourite meal in Dubrovnik.

We chose Konoba Koloseum to have a beer and cool off in the late afternoon. The location is interesting as it's near a beautiful staircase, and the service was very cordial and quick. We also used the restroom, which was clean and organized.As for the dish, which was mussels in white wine, it was a bit disappointing. The sauce was too watery and didn’t bring out the garlic and herb flavors in the mussels. It also didn’t come with bread. However, unlike other restaurants, they provided us with wet wipes to clean our hands after the meal.Our friend ordered a more elaborate dish of soft polenta with mascarpone and shrimp, and that was truly divine!The price is fair, and the experience is worth it, but I would really love for the chef to revamp the mussel dish, as it could be better and match the overall quality!

Incredible food! We ordered 8 mains and two salads and we loved every dish! That is rare, this restaurant is a must. We had the waiter David. He is 10/10! Recommended the best wine and yummy dishes. I had the prawn tagliatelle, the sauce was incredible.

We had the meat platter for two and it was delicious! Great value for food and wine. Service was top tier, lovely waiters and a great setting at the bottom of Jesuit Staircase

What a fantastic find, the restaurant is based at the bottom of the Spanish stairs, from game of thrones. The service was super friendly and helpful, the food very fresh and delicious and the price very fair for the good size portions. I had the tuna steak which was cooked to perfection and my wife had sea bass equally cooked, all very tasty, you will NOT be disappointed with the menu and pricing, highly recommended

Konoba Koloseum totally exceeded our expectations. We had bruschetta guacamole - salmon for appetizers, and a delicious and rich fish platter for the main course. Pleasant ambience and perfect service. The young manager Orsat delighted us! We will definitely come back to this place!
